While the accommodation was cozy, the absence of a dresser meant clothes had to be stored in the hall cupboard's upper shelves, which wasn't ideal. The property lacked a direct sand beach. instead, large rocks separated it from the water, necessitating a drive to find a proper public beach. the lack of air conditioning required leaving windows open at night, which let in a few insects when the lights were on.

We truly enjoyed our time in the one-bedroom apartment with an incredible beachfront view. The entire place was spotless, and having a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. After a long day, the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax while soaking in the mesmerizing ocean scenery. It was also great to be so close to local attractions, like Bread and Butter Gallery and Mercury Bay Museum, both just a short drive away.

A serene escape with stunning views
Our stay was a delightful escape. Waking up to the breathtaking ocean view from our apartment was a moment to cherish. The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a joy, and the hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring.
The absence of air conditioning meant that we needed to leave windows open at night, inviting a few pesky insects inside. Not an ideal scenario, but manageable with some precautions.

Just a fine choice for a city holiday in Whitianga with definitely value for money. The outdoor barbecue area was great for family dinners, allowing us to enjoy meals with a view. Bring insect repellent as the area gets buggy in the evenings.
